Who thinks their debut is their best album?
There’s something about it that just blows me away every time I listen to it… Everyone told me You’re Living All Over Me was better but when I got it I was actually dissapointed because I didn’t like it as much.
March 18, 2006 at 8:24 pm #115238maybe you have more folky-hardcore roots!
i like it, not love it. it still needs more listens.

March 19, 2006 at 6:29 am #115240I love dinosaur after YLAOM and Bug, songs like Leper and Mountain Man are my favorite. I’ll be honest now…. I don’t really love the post green mind stuff, theres just not as many songs that I really like :-, where as on the first 3 I love everything and I really like green mind
March 19, 2006 at 9:17 am #115241I absolutely love Where You Been. i almost like it more than Green Mind. Without A Sound not so much, and Hand it Over has some great tracks.
March 19, 2006 at 9:46 am #115242I really love Out There and Goin Home but I don’t really like J’s voice when he sings stuff high…. it kind of makes me just go and listen to the first 3, I just can’t get into those high vocal parts, I love the guitar solos though. I’m hoping the last 3 records will grow on me more if I eventually get tired of listenenin to the first 3 but I can’t see that happening anytime soon, I listen to at least 2 of them everyday lol
March 19, 2006 at 11:14 am #115243heh, yeah, there’s a lot of tracks on the album where J sings high-pitched. my favorite is Get Me, since the guitar solo(s) are so damn good. What Else Is New is 2nd.
March 19, 2006 at 5:26 pm #115244Dinosaur has some really great songs. That whole album has a very college rocky-vibe. It’s pretty cool.
March 20, 2006 at 6:48 am #115245The debut is a bit farther down my list of Dino records but I gotta say that Severed Lips,Quest,The Leper, and Repulsion are some of the best songs J ever wrote.

March 24, 2006 at 11:51 pm #115247Bug is a great drinking album. The distortion on that album just races through your body and rocks out.

Most of them are top notch, esp Severed Lips, quest, repulsion and Leper.Cats in a bowl is wonderful and weird just like the rest of the album.
March 27, 2006 at 11:00 pm #115249what about Forget the Swan? this is one of my absolute favorite dinosaur songs… but I like Lou quite a bit.
