Is anyone else finding it harder to see the fine line of liking J and staying far from Amma. Knowing her to be a muse for our favorite artist, it’s hard not to appreciate what she has brought into our lives through J himself. Now I don’t think she has anything to do with any freaky cult like activities, and I think she’s like new Mother Theresa, but something inside of me says to stay away from her, and I don’t know why. Does anyone here find themselves slowly becoming an Amma disciple

Nope, I’ll stick to being protestant.

No I haven’t felt the urge to become a disciple. I already know how to love, and I get plenty of hugs from my wife and kids. Now if she could speed up the DVD and the new album I might consider converting. ;)

Why does that guy remind me of Adam Goldberg?

I have seen Amma 3 times last weekend I stopped by to see her but didn’t wait for a hug. There is no need to become a disciple I just read a book about her liked what I read, and having heard J sing and talk about her I was curious. I have gotten a hug once and it was a great experience but there is no need to stay away out of fear that it is a cult or something she just teaches peace and love. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhanvantu meaning May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. :)

I think I got you wrong. I thought he was Goldberg, but now I faintly remember Adam from Running With Bulls, Dazed and Confused, and Christmas on Mars. ::)

He was also in Hebrew Hammer. Speaking of which, they filmed the new opening sequence of the sequel in which Mel Gibson drunkenly stumbles out of a Hollywood venue with two blonde floozies and he starts spouting off anti-Semitic phrases and tears off in his car. Hammer pulls him over and shoots him in the head gangland style and the blood splatters on the windsheild of Gibson’s car in the shape of the Jewish Star of David. This movie ought to be fucking hilarious.

Well, Amma has received some severe criticism from people in India claiming that her inner circle has been offing people who may "know too much". And some of the deaths have been actual family members of Amma herself. I don’t think Amma herself is responsible for any misdeeds, but you know how strongly-religiously devoted people can be. It’s probably just weird coincidence. I really hope so anyway. To think that a person who gives millions of hugs to everybody she encounters and promotes peace and love like Ghandi, Dr. King and the Dalai Lama, could possibly be linked to murder or grave misconduct makes me lose faith in humanity.
