Hello everyone. I thought I would stop in and say hey. I first heard the name Dinosaur Jr in a Nirvana interview. A few months later I saw them play on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and went and bought Ear Bleeding Country the next day. Well, that’s my story and I hope to see some of you in Memphis on the 10th!

March 20, 2006 at 8:36 am #115291Hey Mustangman. Wow! Two Arkansans and counting….I’ve tried not to embarrass us too bad.

If you’re close to Memphis at least you can catch some cool shows. I’m on the other side of the state (Ft. Smith) so I gotta drive three or four hours to get to anything worth seeing. I’m catching Dino in Lawrence, KS next month.
Have fun the 10th!March 20, 2006 at 10:50 pm #115292Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As far as my favorite track on Ear-Bleeding Country, I think it would have to be In a Jar. Little Fury Things would probably be my second pick but it’s hard to decide. Hey duane, I’ve met one other person who is into Dino so that makes three in the state. No wonder they’re not coming here. Actually, I’ll also have to drive three to four hours to get to Memphis (I live in Pope county) but I really want to see them. I might go to the show in Lawrence instead because I have relatives near there that I could stay with, but it would be an even longer drive. Maybe I’ll see you in Lawrence if I go to that show.

I remember fondly making the trek up the interstate to Blackwell to buy booze, two huge booze stores on either side of the highway just over the line from dry-county hell. No i.d. check, no questions asked (I was 17/18 at the time).
