      would a double rock get me close to the guitar sound of this intro?

          I had to go down to LA for work last week and while down there I visited TrueTone Music and among their many pedals saw a Double Rock that was a purple sparkle finish but with a different graphic painted on top, a hand holding a torch/candle. The guy working there said Zvex is making them with different graphics now in addition to the J Mascis model.

            yeah I know, there is one at my local store and it’s not sparkling … I was very disapointed … at least there is J on it.

              The Double Rock nails ‘See it on Your Side’. The solo however is the Fuzz Munchkin. You can squeeze the rhythm out of the Fuzz Munchkin with the sustain down, but what fun is that. I got the rhythm out of the DR by cascading them, both volumes on 9:00 o’clock, both tones at 3:00 and crank both drives. guitar was all the way up and amp on 2 (very low), but the DR is loud as….

              PS That was playing through a Telecaster. The tremolo in the song makes me think its a Jazzmaster. I have one, I’ll try it out tomorrow.

                I think Jay said in an interview that all the rhythm is a LP or SG jr and the lead is a tele.
