Hello every1 my names Trav and i’m from melbourne OZtralia. Im a 22 years old and have been into J for about 6 years now. I got into music in a big way when I was about 16 years old, when my life suddenly turned upside down. I was a gifted australian rules football player, off a 134 goal kicking season and about too nominate myself for the national draft when I suddenly injured my shoulder and was admitted to hospital for a total shoulder reconstruction.
The Draft was put on hold for a year and rehab took over my life. I got back to full strenght and in tip top shape and things where looking up untill I went surfing 1 day and got dumped by a huge wave. I paniced and ripped my shoulder to pieces once more. From then on I never played my beloved sport and music, girls and drugs took over my life in a big way.
I started playing bass and guitar and music suddenly took over my life. I dropped the drugs as soon I finished high school and started working in a chemical plant. I saved up a shit load of money over the next couple of years and ended up buying my own gardening business 2 years later. I ran the business for 2 years and decided to sell it when I got engaged at the start of last year. I am now working back in a factory and studying Information Technology part time. I will be getting married in Aug this year and will be taking on full time study next year.
I have to admitt I have had a shit load of changes in my short life, but j’s music has always stood strong in my life.

I fucked mine all up this winter snowboarding. surgery and four months recovery and the thing still ain’t quite right (just swapping war stories [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img] ) so I Feel the Pain but hey that’s life. Would like to know details sometime about the gardening business! Dream of some day owning my own greenhouse [img]images/smiles/converted/tongue.gif[/img]

Just amazed at another thing we have in common….feel your pain as well about rehab/surgery….sucks!!!! Trying my best to avoid surgery…pumping iron but still can’t bend my knee properly almost a year later…god. Take care of that shoulder [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]
