Any Irc-channel for alternative/indie music?

Is there any? Qnet? If not some of us could do one. I think it would be a good idea because i(and maybe others) dont know anyone besides me who listen to this kind of music. And somehow it would "connect" other listeners with eachother(like this board does..)..

There’s a chatroom (‘Freakscene junkies’), where FreakScene members can meet, talk & exchange music

hmm.. well, i was just thinking if people use (m)irc here, i dont think a fileshareprogram works as good as mirc for chatting and stuff.. :/
