I just saw Boris for the second time last weekend… totally amazing. I don’t know if anyone on the board is a fan of them or Acid Mother’s Temple, but if everyone here is all about loud rock ala J’s huge guitar, then you would be into these two bands. The are both from Japan. Boris started out as a drone/doom band, but have grown to blend psychedelic and garage into their sound. Acid Mother’s Temple is largely a psychedelic band with extremely long songs, they sound a bit like Comets on Fire (also an awesome band that everyone should check out). Acid Mother’s Temple has some crazy guitars going on too.

If you are interested in either band you should check out Boris’s two newest albums "Pink" and "Akuma No Uta." Acid Mother’s Temple check out their albums "Just Another Band From the Cosmic Inferno" and "Starless and Bible Black Sabbath."

      Check them out.

I’ve heard of both of them but never checked them out. I’ve been meaning to.
