I’m guessing that the ones on Ebay are "fake"? It wouldn’t surprise me to find that I had just ordered a faux anodized p.g. for $50 + shipping on there. My uncle anodizes stuff, but says that you can’t anodize plastic with his setup :- It would help with some of my car stuff though. If not Ebay….do some research on google and excite…..excite actually has a lot, sometimes more than google. I know I have seen them somewhere….I’ll try to look for ya.

Man, Im stupid! I just remembered that the gold anodized pickguards are aluminum. So he could do a pickguard…..I would just have to cut it out. I could even use my Jagmaster guard as a template….however, if we could do it, we would have to melt down a bit of gold. Herrm….I’m still looking for them online though too.

try guitarpartsresource.com they’re usually pretty good, I got a sweet white perloid pickgaurd from them for my 62 reissue. It didn’t come with the metal plate behind the pickgaurd but I had it from the original. So I just put on with the new white pickguard.
