Yeah, Finland made it to the Icehockey world Championship final! They are gonna beat Canada…
September 13, 2004 at 11:35 am #104307Lions won Battle Of Freakscene V!
Bears still lead the all-time series 3-2, I think, though. BUT NOT FOR LONG!
September 13, 2004 at 1:13 pm #104308Shame about that guy breaking his collarbone again, YIKES

Yeah, Rogers just cannot get a break (no pun intended). It’s a shame because he’s such a sure-fire talent, and I’m not just saying that because he’s a Lion.
We still have an awesome top 3 WR tandem though with Williams, Tai Streets, and Hakim.
September 14, 2004 at 1:32 pm #104310We have a guy like that, Rex Tucker, out all last year with injury, comes back in preseason..dislocates his elbow, out for the year

Can’t say the same about the BEAR receivers, god, David Terell is our number one receiver. He led the league in yards this week, came close in penalties also…
Seems we may be talking to Tampa about McCardell, might be nice to have an experienced receiver versus…
Pack won last nite, saw an nfl films packer profile show recently, had the most appropriate music…celione dion

They’re gonna kills us on sunday
September 14, 2004 at 8:25 pm #104311Where’s the faith in your squad???
The pack does look tough.
Watched the Bill Cowher press confrence today. Ike Taylor didn’t even dress last game. He looked like a future star in the secondary and he can’t even get a helmet this year. He must have resorted to the reasons he dropped to the third round last year. Still time to improve i guess, stillers scondary should could use it as always.
Ravens on sunday, buckle up.
go stillers go
September 14, 2004 at 8:37 pm #104312Hoping the faith will return by Sunday…
It will be our qb’s fifth start as an nfl, qb, none of our receivers have much experience either…
I thought he was gonna get killed on Sunday, he doesn’t understand the qb slide deal…stayed upright on runs, almost waiting to get smacked. Our D has to make the difference, they need to pick it up and mess with favre, not let him get comfortable back there like he usually does playing us. Urlacher looked great last week, first game of the season for him as he was our all preseason. Ogun played ok given it’s only his first game of the year as well, held out of Miamis preseason
because of financial issues. Our corners need to pick it up, they were getting thrown on and didn’t stop much
It’s @ Lambeau

apparently a great game, I missed it…on purpose

Allison, you’re gonna have to promise me you’ll continue to watch the games on TV, never at a stadium.September 17, 2004 at 1:03 pm #104315

I’m heading for a domed stadium on the 26th, should be safe from any lightning strikes, hopefully won’t get any aggro from viking fans …
:aliensmile:September 19, 2004 at 11:51 am #104316Go BEARS Go
I hope this isn’t too painful of a day…
September 19, 2004 at 3:20 pm #104317that didn’t hurt at all…

BEARS 21 Cheeseheads 10…

Sweetest game I’ve seen in years, 1999 was the last time we beat them…and we didn’t just beat them today, we kicked their ass thru the whole game
Wicked game, reduced the number of penalties, caused turnovers, Thomas Jones had an amazing running game
Mike Brown picked up a fumble & ran it back for a 95 yard touchdown, Urlacher caused the fumble then blocked favre on the return
Injuries suck, Mike Brown out with some kind of achilles injury

Amazing game, beating the pack @ lambeau feels pretty pleasing
:aliensmile:September 19, 2004 at 6:50 pm #104318YO BEARS YO!!!
September 19, 2004 at 11:18 pm #104319go Bears go indeed.
Loved the 95 yard fumble return, that and Eddie Drummond, former penn stater now lion, with a kick off return were the two highlights of my day of football viewing. Stillers were off a bit. Tommy gunz had none and got his bent a bit the wrong way. Got to see Big Ben in action and that was a modest success. He looked good once he got settled, two interceptions aren’t good but he’s our guy and that’s that, next week will be first start so here goes nothing. Defense played well, quarterback scrambles still seem to be problem. How hurt is Kendrel Bell??? Two games now and no playing for a monster at linebacker. Hines Ward is tough as nails and catches everything. Deion actually looked good. Thought most guys in the league get a flag on the play he made on Plaxico, but that’s another story, he got banged up a bit i guess. Polumalu looked good against the run, but a saftey with double digit tackles isn’t a good thing.
1 and 1 ain’t so bad i guess

Dolphins on the road next.
September 20, 2004 at 7:11 pm #1043201-1 is definitely cool with me
Vikings up next for us, tonite it’s Philly vs Vikings…

Hope you get Bell back soon, monsters at linebackers make huge differences in games!
We lost Mike Brown for the season, torn achilles

Still smiling about that beating we gave Green Bay…

Go BEARS Go
