Doesn’t sound like the george thing worked out, Krenzel is starting this w/e. Hopefully our front line plays a helluva lot better, they were getting blown back constantly, Train & Krenzel were surrounded by titans…it was disgusting!!! Tucker just returned, he does not look game ready, they shouldn’t have him starting yet…YIKES.
Those guys in the browns/Steelers pregame fight fined ten grand each…

Urlachers probably gone for the season, was still hospitalized as of wednesday. Had to have a large hematoma drained on his calf, probably at risk for blood clots/using anticoagulants…
Unbelievable, team had him fly home after the game, air pressure is not a good thing for circulatory system injuries…
Looking forward to the game this w/e, hope to mess with peyton in the backfield, his o line is suffering, two starting guards out…
Fingers crossed our D can keep scoring points, hope our O can stop doing the 3 and out dance & actually score this week

Go Steelers Go

Go BEARS Go
November 18, 2004 at 4:51 pm #104352so how’s the bears doing this year? -yeah I know, if I read all the previous post I’ll get the idea, but I’m still as lazy as ever. What place are they on? Are there places in nfl?
November 18, 2004 at 4:55 pm #104353We’re one game out of the lead in our division…
BEARS 4-5
Detroit 4-5
vikings 5-4
pack 5-4better than I thought we’d be
November 18, 2004 at 5:01 pm #104354divisions… right…

well, I’m glad to hear they’re doing good. At a party a couple of weeks ago there were some americans, and they tried to convince me that Tampa somtething or another was the team to root for. You should’ve seen their faces when I said that I would hear nothing of it, as it would make coma girl kick my butt.November 18, 2004 at 5:10 pm #104355Those americans obviously know nothing about football & your right about that kicking your butt thing had your bought their crap
But you didn’t so…
November 18, 2004 at 5:15 pm #104356coolest smilie in the world

I hope tampa is way down in their division, see -I’m learning the talk
November 21, 2004 at 11:59 pm #104357Stillers squeaked by today. Big Ben was under steady heat while being sacked seven times. That Rudi Johnson guy runs all over us. Saftey to seal it, defense is backbone and big time today. Plax got hurt but looks fine. Offense is lost a bit without him. As good as Hines and El are Plax scares defenses. Speaking of scary good, man oh man do i hate that peyton kid with the colts. He thorws touchdowns like punches in a rivarly game these daze. So much violence in the world. Peace too perfect.
Washington comes to the burgh next sunday…
Thanksgiving = BEARS
vs. cowboysNovember 22, 2004 at 2:06 pm #104358Congrats on winning that game, looked like it was a tough one

Steelers looking like they could go all the way…

Luckily I wasn’t able to watch the whole game yesterday, only managed the 1st quarter
We got killed, our offense sputtered, hardly anything positive to talk about…
Our D, got burnt for 275 yards rushing, not gonna even mention the passing yards Manning had
Thought our D would be able to make more of an impact on their game, we missed Urlacher more than I thought we would. They were running up the middle constantly

Short week for us, we play Dallas on Thursday

Scary incident behind the BEARS bench, so called fan heckling BEARS about their wives, girlfriends, ridiculed Mike Browns achilles injury etc. BEARS players responded by yelling back, calling the guy down to the field…

Guy & his wife were escorted away by security before it got out of hand, thankfully it didn’t go the route of the nba deal in detroit

I don’t get people, understand being upset with the team, calling out players around the game is definitely understandable. Taking it to another level & getting personal with family & personal issues…thats just creepy & ridiculous. Only cretinous humanoids pass that line, not true BEAR fans

Go BEARS Go
November 25, 2004 at 1:35 pm #104359Seems like the Lions are feeling the same pain The BEARS did last week against The Colts…Peyton Manning is insane

BEARS play The Cowboys today, they’re playing rookie qb Drew Henson. We get Tillman back at cb today, hopefully he’ll manage a few picks. Think this is a game we could win, we’re wearing 1946 uniforms today, bright orange. Gotta say, RW looks pretty cool

Go BEARS Go
November 26, 2004 at 1:43 pm #104360We got killed again, unbelievable turn of events in BEARland

Our offense lacks in so many ways it’s mind boggling, no offensive line to speak of, qb who shouldn’t be playing, injuries, terry sheas play calling…god john shoop was better

Special teams are the only bright spot, RW got an interception for a td, lost a sure td on another play due to a fumble…

More injuries, Craig Krenzel, John Tait, millions of BEAR fans who smashed their tv’s during the game

I say don’t bother putting Urlacher back in after he recovers from his latest injury, we miss him but the way the seasons going god knows what could happen to him

Next up Dec 5th the vikings, with randy moss…we better find a qb quick
November 28, 2004 at 7:27 am #104361I had decided that that Krenzel guy must be the worst nfl qb ever, and then he got hurt, and as not to make him feel bad, that Quinn guy played even worse.
I felt for all bears fans this thanksgiving.
Bright spots did exist, that McQuarters fellow is quite a ball player. Fumbles are tough to take, but that one hurt being he was the bright spot. I dug the old school unifroms and such seeing a team i hear about and have grown to adore was fun for the first time this season.
on to todays action.
I’m scared. Plaxico isn’t suiting up and he is the guy that makes defenseive backfields sweat bullets. Hines Ward is the toughest man alive but Plax is a touchdown big play waiting to happen, even if defensives are coached and told to shut down Hines they still fear getting beat deep by Plaxico before every snap. I hope the offense doen’t suffer. I’m so pessimistic my stiller fan friends hate me sometimes.
I need to gert some sleep before the game.
sunday is here, i think
November 28, 2004 at 10:47 am #104362Allison, it looks like you may get your wish..
Bears are expected to announce the signing JEFF GEORGE on Monday. Yes, that Jeff George who hasn’t played in 3 years.. He will be third string..
November 28, 2004 at 11:50 am #104363I can’t really believe that I’m pleased with having Jeff George on board, things are really as bad as they seem. It’s way beyond reasonable that we went into the season with quinn & hutchinson as our back ups, really wish we had kept Chris Chandler. Terry Shea, our offensive coordinator, may have to go, we gained more offensively with john shoop

Surfer dude Chad Hutchinson will start versus Minnesota next w/e. Apparently things are getting testy between the D & O, guess the D doesn’t appreciate us going for the league lead in 3 & outs on offense

Looking forward to seeing the Steelers today…

just when I think that I’ve started to understand some of what you’re talking about you post something like this
November 30, 2004 at 12:38 am #104365…speaking of special teams. Antwaan Randell El saved the day sunday. His six punt returns for 111 yards were the difference, plus the usual strong play of the Stillers D (defense), the O (Offense) was carried once again by thought for dead at beginning of season Jerome Bettis. He is truely the Mayor of Pittsburgh and holds more than just the key to the city.
Jeff George is fun to think about. He seriously has a cannon for an arm. Number one pick oh so many years ago i think, he’s got to better than anyone you’ve got. Krenzel and Quinn aren’t nfl players, Hutchinson deserves a chance probably only because he is getting paid.
Stillers are sunday night’s game next week with a tough trip to Jacksonville.
Plax should return most likely Duece as well, the poor field conditions on sunday being the only reason he was kept out.
December is fast upon us…
