Hey eggwater,

Cool pics, thanks tons. Wondering if you remember what song J was singing with Asheton playing guitar on?

Allison

ps what I really meant to ask was is J singing on a Stooges song or is Asheton playing on a Fog/Dinosaur Jr song?

Well In Glasgow last night Ron came on and played guitar with J on ‘Down on The Street, Not Right, TV Eye, I Wanna Your Dog, No Fun and Loose. Watt sang/bawled all the Stooges songs then they did Freak Scene with J singing and Ron on 2nd guitar.
Words fail as to how good they were last night. I thought the whole room was about to spontaniously combust during Loose! Watt broke a string on his bass twice during the gig he was playing so hard! Amazing and incredible!

In reply to Alison.

as in glasgow they played about 7 Stooges songs…not NO FUN…we got REAL COOL TIME instead and then finished with Freak Scene.

that piccy is when they were doing I WANNA BE YR DOG and the one with what arm round him is LOOSE.

Just got to mention that last nights show in Glasgow fulfilled so many longings that have been hanging over me since Dinosaur first blasted into my life….

What a performance!!!
First class…

With Watt (obviously on day release from Carstairs Mental Hospital) going ballistic on bass, and J being super-hot on guitar it was classic Dino.
J ripped into exquisite solo after solo with some awe inspiring play…

Oh, that other punter wasn’t to bad either….
