I just got back from the Atlanta show and my ears are still rining

It was great seeing murph, lou, and J again. It has been a while for me i missed them their last time through. They came on around 9pm and played about 45 minutes. The crowd did not seem to into it at first but warmed up towards the end. They sounded good to me. No were near as loud as i’ve heard them before. their was a fair amount of people at the show. The tabernacle is a great venue and has three seating levels and the top level was closed off (at least it apeared to be). I’ve seen them do that for quite a few bands if hte show is not sold out so that is nothing new.
As for what they played i don’t remember all but maybe someone else can help piece together a setlist.
almost ready
back to your heart
been there all the time
out there
feel the pain
the lung
kracked>>sludgefeastThat is not in order and i think i’m missing a song or two but i’m pretty sure all of those were played. They ended with kracked/sludgefeast whichi is always one of my favorite combo’s so i was very happy. They did not play pick me up which really sucks i love that song. Anyway it was cool I wish they would have come on earlier and played longer but i’ll take 45 minutes of dinosaur jr over none

hopefully someone else can add further details about the setlist like i said i know it is not all they played and it is not in order.
June 22, 2007 at 10:04 am #130315Last night we crossed Luckie street headed to the Tabernacle and walked past some guy standing on the corner. Right after we passed him, I had a weird moment of recognition. It was Lou. We were going to ask him to sign our tickets, but before we got our nerve up, a cab pulled up and his wife got out with their baby. I didn’t want to bother him when he had his wife and baby with him… he might think I’m creepier and sicker than I actually am and panic.
I am condemned to only having the opportunity to meet Dino members in awkward situations (like J getting in line for the bathroom behind me at Smiths Old Bar).I’m sure Lou could see us stalking in the background trying to get our nerve up to go talk to him. He sort of heads our way towards the back of the club and we’re watching the whole time. Then right in front of Lou, my wife screams, "Oh my God, there’s J" and points. I was kind of embarrassed as I bet Lou hates that! And there J was hanging out on the back porch of the Tabernacle having a beer with some people.
Dino kicked ass. The Black Keys were very good too, but Dino was really impossible to follow. They played pretty loud (ears ringing still) and the set was very different from the last 3 times. A lot of new songs (which sounded great) and some mid–period too (Out There and Feel the Pain). Great stuff. We were really close to the stage and where we were, the crowd seemed really into it the whole time. Excellent show, I wish it could have been longer. They had some cool new shirts on the merch table too… Best one was a Green Mind mock-up with the smoking little giirl now a space alien. I didn’t make a set list so unfortunately I can’t help with that… They definitely played "This is all I came to do".
