September 6, 2001 at 11:00 am #82966I don`t know how to work audiogalaxy either.
I just registered with them but don`t know what to do next.
anyone can help me out?September 6, 2001 at 12:52 pm #82967I’ve had the same problem, so I know how you’re feeling.
So here’s what you do:Start the download satellite, press the go-button, type the name of the song/band you’re looking for, and then when you found it, you click on the button with the satellite image (next to the song name)& the song will go straight to your download queue.
It’s as easy as that (when you know how to do it)

September 6, 2001 at 1:02 pm #82968Does it take awhile to download?I have a mp3 jukebox on my computer, will it pop up there when it`s ready?
The songs AG hosts are easy to download,I`ve done that alot before,it`s the satillite songs that I`m having a hard time with.
Thanks for your help!hopefully I`ll figure it out soon.September 6, 2001 at 1:17 pm #82969If you’re more discriminating about the bitrate, and want more control, click on the song title instead of the little dish-button. Then on the next page where it gives you the option to choose what bitrate you want, click the very bottom option, where it says ‘Click here for an exact version.’ It’ll give you a list of every occurance of that song currently online w/ bitrate, filesize, and number of times a particular copy is availible. Hope I helped…
September 6, 2001 at 3:03 pm #82970Still can`t figure it out,it says to download the satilite and click that on and then windows then I get linked to download.com ,what do I do next?
maybe I should check those other sites that were mentioned in the new napster thread.
I only had my computer a few months so it`s hard to figure this stuff out.September 6, 2001 at 4:08 pm #82971Salamiguy, try to learn how to use audiogalaxy, cause it’s better than all the napster-look-a-likes, even better than the real napster….
When you come to download.com, you have to download the satellite. Just click on the blue link that say’s "Audiogalaxy Satellite 0.606", and then on the next page click "Download now", and save it on your hard-drive (remember where you put it).
Then double click the application named "CNET-audiogalaxy0606". then fill in whatever they ask. Then follow my first reply
