      Listen to the man,everybody!
      Yeah More Light is way cool,if J did a whole album of songs like it,it would be worth it.
      More people should rant more like that;very cool Kurticus7!

        Hey,

        Like I said I LOVE the song More Light, listen to it at least twice a day…sometimes more [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img]
        I have also tried to work my way thru a couple Dino songs thru repeated listenings…ahhhh…sad thing is it doesn’t always work. Poledo and Don’t continue to haunt me to this day…after repeated listenings I found that I had some wicked Post Trauma type symptoms when I heard similar songs…wicked startle response, flight or fight system kicked in and I would run for the cd player…usually make it in the 1st couple of seconds [img]images/smiles/converted/rolleyes.gif[/img]

        Pretty sure Spaceboy has tried to like More Light the song, just hope he hasn’t experienced the same symptom list I experience with Don’t and Poledo [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]
        But like Spaceboy said 1 song out of god knows how many is not a bad average at all [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

            I really tried to like the Song "More Light"
            I try to listen to it, but it drives me Insane [img]http://www.smilies.nl/rough/plasmawhore.gif[/img]

            Poledo is a Great song but many DinoFans Don’t Like That Song
            U People Are Stupid, Its So Beautiful & Weird
            Smoke Some Stuff & Dig It [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img]

            So we all have our Favorites & Ones we Don’t Like
            & by me its just 1 Song of So Many Great & Beautiful Ones

              For those of you who don’t like the song More Light, try the following remedy:

              indulge in some mota, get in your car, roll your windows up, crank the AC, put More Light on, turn the stereo up real loud, and cruise.

              That oughta do it!

                    The reason that dinosaur is my favorite band is that all of there songs are great. Superchunk for example also have no bad songs but some songs are merely fine. Pixies and Pavement have bad songs. Half of sonic youth songs are bad in my opinion. but Dinosaur is always good to great. Although there is one song that I guess is great but I always skip "Don’t". I also have a problem with I’m not fine, I know that it’s supposed to be campy parody but I still can’t get past images of Kiss or Van Halen or someone in my head.

                      i don’t like ‘feel the pain’ very much. the video was cool but the song is pretty weak, as was that album as a whole. ‘don’t’ i like if i’m pissed, but otherwise i usually don’t listen to it. his cover of that ‘leaving on a jetplane’ song sucks too, but since it’s a cover we can’t say it’s one of his bad songs.

                        yeah more light live rules. the guitar and keyboard combination are awesome. i never really liked Chunks. And from Bug, Don’t. but that’s just my opinion.

                          I know there is one song i skip on Dinosaur Jr. albums. "Poledo" (don’t remember spelling). I can’t get into it. As for More Light. It’s one of my favorites. Wasn’t until I saw it live. The loudness is its whole appeal. and figuring out the words.

                              I know we all love J and trust me, he’s my FAVORITE, a guitar guru and zen master, but
                              I’ll say there are a few songs I need to skip over sometimes. I’m really bad at lying so there’s the truth. I’ll be nice though and not name the tracks.

                                  what’s wrong with "on the brink"?

                                  I skip shut off bug when "don’t" comes on. I has it’s place but it’s only osmething I can listen to once in a while.

                                  -these are all great songs (maybe not mountain man) but I can’t listen to them all the time.

                                  freedom has it’s days. some good, some bad.
