      Hey there everybody.

I’m fine-tuning my Amazon wishlist and I’m noticing two separate listings of the Dinosaur Jr BBC album. The first is listed as ‘The BBC Sessions [LIVE]’ and is priced $13.98. The second is listed as ‘In Session [LIVE]’ and is priced $16.98. The covers and the song listings appear to be identical. (Neither of them are imports because there is also a third version that is listed as ‘BBC Sessions [IMPORT] [LIVE]’.)

Can anybody tell me the difference between the first two? Did I miss it, somehow?

      thanks,

So, yeah. I’m still around, now and then. Anyway, I noticed something about the Dinosaur Jr. BBC sessions, and I’m looking for confirmation.

I have two versions of five of the Dinosaur Jr. songs recorded by the BBC. One version is on a French promo from ’93, the other version is on the In Session album from ’99. When I compare the two, the In Session album seems to have too much bass. The songs on the promo sound better, clearer.

Anyone else notice this? What could explain it? Did they — did J? — make a new mix when they brought out the In Session album?

Is this CD a must have?
