Does anyone know what Berz and Johnson are up to these days?
I havent heard anything about Johnson in a long time now. I always liked him alot in Dino and i´ve been waiting for some new solo stuff to come out ever since Year Of Mondays.

And Berz…whats up there? He´s a great drummer and seems to be a pretty cool guy. What is he up to?

George is still playing with Evan Dando here and there. Also, he and his girlfriend just had an adorable baby.

What’s the story with former Dino drummers playing with Evan Dando? Murph was in Lemonheads for a while back in the day. Were Dino and Dando good friends or something?

J and the Fog played at Evan’s wedding.

Awesome. That’s one wedding I would have actually enjoyed attending. 8)

man, i have to get that johnson record. i loved "year of mondays", its one of my favourite recordings.

i would love to see J team up with mike and berz for a post-lou tour next year…that´d be something, that would cover the whole spectrum of dino jr.

No need for that — he should just get back out on the road with the Schools/Spence Fog and restrict whatever Dino material he plays to the post-Lou years. Maybe then we can get to hear some of the great stuff from Hand It Over that he never plays with the Fog.

Johnson released two albums since Year of Mondays. He was playing in Caustic Resin for awhile. I think he has a new band called "Mike Johnson Band" perhaps that opened for Built to Spill earlier this year.

                      Dando worships Dino.

i would rather see mike and berz with J then any fog lineup. but thats just me. to me, the fog (band and songs) has never really reached the same greatness as dinosaur jr did. but like i said, that´s just me.

oh- thanks everone for the updates on mike johnson…

It’s not just you. I like the Fog but don’t think it’s quite as strong as Dino for some reason. Close, but not quite there.

I have it from reliable sources that Mr. Berz, after serving the last few years in an Upstate New York penetentiary, has decided to devote the remainder of his days on this orb to serving the Lord Almighty. That’s right! He is currently in Seminary studying to become a Catholic Priest. I hear that he regrets the fact that as a Catholic Priest, he will no longer be allowed to be alone with his young son. As such, at the kind behest of Michael Jackson, the younger Mr. Berz will be staying at the Neverland Ranch until further notice.
