Man am I glad I waited to listen to the album until today! On track 4 now and it all sounds really sweet — nice and dirty sound, lots of guitar fuzz and texture, great tunes. The main riff in "Pick Me Up" cracks me up — METAL!!!! This one’s gonna get played a lot over the next few weeks.
And while I haven’t yet heard it, it appears that "Tiny Town" is a J original, not a cover.
Tell us more about the bonus tracks when you’ve digested them can you?
I’m still waiting for my Japan issue to turn up… good to know it’s on the way..

Tiny Town is a faintly ridiculous instrumental that lasts about 30 seconds.
Yer Son, however, is a solid staccato rocker which would make for a great, raging encore live.

Out 1 week today!!!!!Got my copy in the mail today, blasting it right now. 2 songs in and the mixes do sound different from the leaked copy i have. It comes with what I think is fold out lyrics sheet but is in japanese (is this right?)

Got mine Saturday too….As mentioned before: tiny town is about 30 to 40 seconds, it would have made a real cool instrumental track if they kept up with it. Very unlike dino but had great promise. To short…..Yer Son is a great rock song, should be a good live number……I think the mix sucks. Sorry to be harsh but I can’t hear the bass, the drums are faint and I’m having a hell of a time trying to decifer the lyrics except for J’s usage of the phrase " I can" or " I can’t" which is in almost every song and driving me crazy. Other than that it does rock….Just remember if you buy the import you get one bonus track. That thirty seconds doesn’t qualify as a track to me.

I think most of the songs live will have a heavier inclusion of bass and drums to them.
it looks like the u.k has a better deal for the price with the 12" and the I got lost 7" for 27.99 .. i hope its not limited edition cause i wont have the mony for a bit… but all those new luscios tracks to slap on the turntable.. woo hoo!!!
maybe, i ended up paying $30 including shipping for the japanese import. I dont mind though because I have the album in my hands sooner than the stateside may 1 release date.
Yer my son sounds like it would have fitted in on their debut–really similar vibe. Ditto for Tiny Town, but it really isn’t a song per se, just a quick blast of jamming. Great album, though! I agree that the bass and drums should be louder, but it has that massive sound that the original Dinosaur always had, and the tunes are consistently great.
