Well i think i would much rather play like hendrix than those guys. They sound too artificial and cheesy to me

he was just a legend no wait he was a myth.when comparing guitarist hendrix is just out of this world.hands shaken…never meant to debate like that.
Yngwie has some good techniques….but yeah…..250+Strats, 4 Ferrari’s, trophy wife…..mansion, number 3 (or whatever) fastest guitarist in the world…..small small small.
Angelo……Micheal…..Batio…..yeah. The fastest guitarist in the world right now. Yeah…..but he still sucks. He plays fast…….but listen to his songs, they’re all the same. He has like three different scales/arrpegios that he uses in like every song. So, every song sounds like the other. When he plays the ambedexrious double neck guitar, there’s not much going on there…..one hand just makes weird noises and the other does some cool stuff……eh…..not very impressive. Speed kills is about his fastest I think, it’s milding interesting……I’m sure that given a few more years I could come up with something like that too……but, like J…………I’m too lazy. I don’t want the fastest guitarist title. Laziest maybe…..but eh.

I hate it when people throw in Hendrix in a bad way (not that this just happend). Like…..when I’m saying things like "Hendrix was great" and someone says, no man Alexi Laiho (SP?) or Vai or Gilbert etc. can blow him away. Friggin…….time frames man….shut up, put them back then and yeah…..but things have changed a LOT since then. Hendrix is beyond anyone. Like Neil Young said, "No one is even in the same building as Hendrix, and never will be." There will never be another Jimi.
If I could play half that good man……yeah.
