For some reason or another there are a few brands that have convinced me that they are the best ones out there. Some of these brands manufacture stuff that I’ll never need. Still I would buy them without a second of doubt if I ever needed one of them. Their marketing department must know what they’re doing.
Brands/company names that a Robert likes:
Le Coq Sportif (loved this brand ever since I got my first pair of football shoes at age 6 -real football mind you, not that silly we’re afraid of rugby-ball that allison is such a fan of.)
Quaker State
Penzoil
Husqvarna(I especially love how this is pronounced by english-speaking people, since they can’t make the correct "huskværna" sound and rather blurt out "husskavarna.")
Breitling
K2
Olin
Powell Peralta(this is the best name ever! I would by tampongs manufactured by Powell Peralta.)
G&S
Independent Trucks
Massey Ferguson
Cannondale(their bikes suck but a great name)
Seven
Merlin
Bontrager
DeWalt
Olivetti(not sure if they still make computers though.)
Gas Gas(if I ever need a trial bike, this is my no 1 choice.)February 2, 2004 at 3:14 pm #98842i had a powell peralta tony hawk when i was a kid. was the bee’s knees.
February 2, 2004 at 3:40 pm #98843Cool, I’ve checked ebay from time to time for old boards and the old Caballero and Hawk boards fetch $50 and up. Only old board I have left is my Vallely with the "twin tail", with independent trucks and slimeballs. Those were the days.

Could you be anymore french?
February 22, 2004 at 8:43 am #98853paul&joe, shiseido, benefit, armani, buell and jaguar are not french

and i don’t think free lance is french neither !?February 22, 2004 at 8:58 am #98854I know, it was regarding the brands you prefer. It sort of supported the stereotype of french girls as fashion-o-holics with expensive taste

btw, shi(fast) sei( fast) do(hard) = shiseido
