Why isn’t Dinosaur playing anything off of Bug. The only songs I noticed on other setlists were Freak Scene and No Bones. Lat year when I saw them in Cleveland they played Budge, as well as Freak Scene, but other then that- nothing. Bug comprises some of their best material- Yeah we know, Pond Song, – they should give the YLAOM album a break and play more shit off their first album and Bug. I’m going to see them tonight/tomorrow night in San Francisco, but bummed out because they are playing almost the same setlist from last summer. The only songs I have to look forward to that I didn’t see in Cleveland was Chunks and The Wagon. These guys must be bored already…

yeah, i was a bit disappointed by the lack of Bug songs. they only played Budge and Freak Scene for us. J needs to pull out the electric-acoustic for Pond Song!!

The first time I saw them I’m pretty sure they played Freak Scene, No Bones, Yeah We Know, Budge, and the Post.

Bug is easily their best material off the first three albums. Eventually they’re going to have to play some different stuff. It will be interesting to see what that will entail.

I’ve noticed this too. I know I can’t ever expect to hear Pond Song, Let it Ride, or They Always Come but at the shows I went to last year I heard They Always Come, The Post, Budge, No Bones and Freak Scene. At the Indianapolis show I went to on this leg of the tour the only Bug song played was Freak Scene. I was surprised by this considering they’re entire set list come from three albums.

They’ve played They Always Come on this reunion :o :o

Did J sing or was it instumental?

I agree, Pond Song needs an appearance

Wait, I mean Yeah We Know as one they don’t play. I did hear They Always Come at one of the three shows I saw. Seems a rare occurance but it was sweet.

They did Yeah We Know in Seattle last August and No Bones in Eugene on Tuesday. I would really like to hear pond song too, that would rule.

Since my 1st concert was on their Bug tour of 1989, I think I always associate Dinosaur Jr. with something they used to be. They sounded different back then.
