I’ve started a modest collection of various buttons and badges on my bookbag. And I was wandering if anybody else had seen any cool ones.

My current faves are one that reads "I have more seen points than you" and one that announces "I’m fucking metal" in destressed letters (this one isn’t on my backpack, I don’t feel comfertable with the "f" word on my person" I also got my hands on a Belle and Sebastion button recently, It’s like the cover of "The boy with the Arab Strap"

never seen a cool badge in my life – don’t really relish the thought of looking like some NME reading Grange Hiller. There was a fad here a few years ago of loads of people having thousands of badges on blazers and bags. and i mean thousands. i would recommend sticking to only a few, Malky.

also, what is a seen point?

And of course I won’t use too many, That’d be punk. everyone knows the emo/indie thing to do is to have a few carefully placed buttons.

As a teenager I loved the badge, Wreckless Eric wore on this album cover: I’m a mess 😈
It took me long time back then to find a similar one & I was happy when I finally got one in London.
Wreckless Eric was a punk, and he is hardly known anymore nowadays. I never liked the album much, but I liked to steal it from my sister…

ok, I changed the green colour to bold black, in case you couldn’t read the green letters.

I’ve seen a badge that says New Wave Punk Rock Asshole

I have a "generic Punk Pin" in my mess. That’s all it says.

FC, That’s pretty cool, could use one of thems.

BTW, Jaron, I don’t know what’s more disturbing, me having a chick in my avatar, or your liking it.

these really don’t pertain to music at all, but there are some cool buttons here:

…I’ve got many buttons, but my favorite is a pin that is a quote of Jack Kerouac,
it says, "I don’t know. I don’t care. And it doesn’t make any difference."

The best part is when people, look at the pin and ask what it says. I get to respond the correct answere and they get pissed off. Comedy central.

Buttons are so darn cool. I sport a college republican button as a joke, and a church of the sub-genius button as a sign of my involvement in the world beneath the norm…

                              out
