cars + red light = stop

so this fine morning i leave my house to go down the block to get my usual cup of coffee from the bagel shop. coffee is good today. jamaican me crazy. im heading outside of the shop, taking a couple sips as the cars drive by. right up ahead is a red light which to my knowledge means all cars should stop. am i right ? so….. i decide to cross. bad move. this blue car with this woman talking on her phone and eating something runs RIGHT INTO ME. im all right. pants are a little dirty and a small cut on my leg, but im allright. she accuses me of jaywalking and peels right out of there right through the red light. and im just standing there like "what the fuck". there must be some new law here in maryland about if you are driving, eating, and talking at the same time, you are allowed to run over anyone you please. i have her liscense plate number, i know what kind of car she has, so today…. im going to make up a little web page about this adventure and get it listed on all search engines and newsgroups. hopefully she drifts through the web from time to time and just perhaps she will come across something that might make her think twice about which pedal is for the gas and which pedal is for the MOTHER FUCKING BRAKES.

Geez sounds like getting coffee can be a dangerous thing…sucks. Glad you’re ok Anthony, driving, eating and talking on the phone at the same time… <img> <img> <img> Runs a red light, hits you than blames you, i agree with Mattman…sue the lameass!!! Or at least file a police report so she has to explain exactly how its not her fault <img>

Geeze, I feel your pain. I seriously would file a police report, I wouldn’t sue, but she was definativly in the wrong. If you had a crosswalk, most states have a pedestrian right of way law.

but another reason it might be a good idea to file a report is if you get injured and dont realize it right away- like you’ve got adreneline and you’re really young & tuff & stuff- also like that girl who got hit in the head at that hockey game walked away but died of a blood clot a few days later. so just in case, its been nice knowin ya <img>
