      .cgi sound files

      my mac, osx, seems to do nothing with them altho i have RA and QT and, god help me, some MS audio prog too (windows media player I think)

      what does play these things?

        CGI is not a sound file, but a script to be run by a webpage. The CGI script was probably supposed to call the sound file when you clicked on the link. This was probably done to keep you from saving the sound file to your hard drive or as an organization method for the webmaster. Did you do a "save as" type thing, and did you just click on the link for the file?
