WOW WOW WOW Good News from Keith @ City Slang!!

Jeremiah & Co,
So, I’m please to announce that City Slang will be releasing the new J. & The Fog record "Free So Free" on October 14th. This is the European release date. Not too sure what’s up in the US. We’ll be doing a 7" in the UK (only) of "Everybody Lets Me Down" on Sept. 30 and there will be a video for the song as well.
Also, J. will be coming over to Europe in early Sept. to do press and a handfull of radio gigs, some with a very small live audience. He will do a solo acoustic tour of Europe in November.
We’ll be putting an MP3 on http://www.cityslang.com sometime in the next 6 weeks or so…will let you know when.
Here’s the track listing:
Freedom
If That’s How It’s Going To Be
Set Us Free
Bobbin
Free So Free
Tell The Truth
Someone Said
Everybody Lets Me Down
Say The Word
Outside

Needless to say, the album totally rocks but also has a certain beauty and grace that More Light didn’t. And, there’s obviously a theme at work here with all the Freedom or Free references…you guys are gonna dig it.
Take care,
Keith

I wonder if any of my company’s sales people can sell a SAN in Europe, and have ME install it aound the 14th of October? I do not think that is going to happen..

Thanks jeremiah for the good news on the Europe side… Now if such could only trickle to the US side..

(I should preview the posts before I post them! Notice the edit!!! )

What up everyone,
Sorry it has been some time since I have added any thoughts but I did some computer clean up and messed up all my passwords and login stuff.
I can’t wait to hear other new stuff from the album. I can understand that there maybe a gap from when other countrys get the releease from us in the USA. I’m sure it will be just a matter of who is going to be the record label to do all the USA printing and distribution stuff.

Although I will be very patient as always, maybe Amazon.com will have access to the albums distrubution if necessary.
Later, Chris

Hey,
What is Palace Brother talking about when he mentioned the extra tracks on More Light? Was this a European version or what?

Hi djm409, initial copies of ‘More Light’ here in Europe came with a bonus disc containing two songs: ‘Riptide swim sideways’ and ‘Let’s go to church’

76 days to wait for the new album, 35 days to wait for Pukkelpop

im so happy now. can’t wait.

so the album sounds more beautiful? is that possible with a track as pretty as ‘Ground me to You’ on More Light?

So, if the album is tentatively planned as a European release, does that mean the US version would be the import version and will be the one with the extra tracks?

Finally! We defeat the smelly UK bastards!
