I’m sure some of you folks are way ahead of me on this one, but I’ve recently discovered Spinner, the online radio thing with a station for virtually every musical genere one could think of… And now I’m addicted… [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]
The problem is… Spinner’s interface kinda sucks… But I soon found a solution to that too. Music Lives Online has several cool Plug-ins for my favorite media player, WinAmp. Including one that allows you to listen to Spinner through WinAmp. You’ll need the Real Player to take advantage of any of this…
Another cool Winamp plugin I’ve come accross is the Album List plugin that gives you another playlist that allows you to separate your mp3s into albums by sorting them into directories by album.
With my recent aquisition of a cable modem, this stuff is just what I was looking for…
(Stuff I’ve heard on Spinner today… (I mostly listen to the various indie channels) Bob Mould, Sugar, Yo La Tengo, Breeders, Pixies, etc. Not just singles releases either and lots of cool bands I’ve never heard of… [img]images/smiles/converted/jump.gif[/img]
