Another nice one!
Red House Painters doing Kiss, that’s a nice one. Have you heard the new Mark Kozelek album with all the AC/DC stuff? It’s great.

Sugar doing the Who is also a nice one, I’m now playing that one as well (and reading that it isn’t a Pete Townsend-original, but that it was written by John ‘Speedy’ Keen, well, I’m learning all the time…. )

I heard about the Kozelek AC/DC tribute album, sounds like it`s good.
Ever hear Red Star Belgrade`s cover of Highway To Hell?gotta put that one on an upcoming mix.

I have that Red Star Belgrade song on my list for the next covers-mix as well! (and Bettie Serveert doing Sebadoh’s ‘Healthy Sick’ is on the list as well)

By the way, I have an album of a band called Califone, it’s the new band of Tim Rutili from Red Red Meat, the album is called ‘Roomsounds’ and it has got some weird but fascinating songs (and videos…) on it, don’t know if I can really recommend it…

I heard about Califone, have`nt heard anything by them yet,Rutilli also is in the Boxhead Ensemble Eggwater mentioned here awhile ago.
The final RRM album was too experimental, guess Califone might be in the same vein.Loftus was another project with Rutilli and members of Rex.

I’m kinda hoping to see Mogwai’s killer version of Don’t Cry on one of your collections Salamiguy.

Yeah I was going to put it on this one, next time I will,I still wanna hear J cover it!
Did you get my pm?maybe you did`nt because of your computer, halfman has the same problem, had no response from him either.
I asked if you still were having trouble getting into the chat room, and you should try logging off and enter as a guest, maybe that would work.

The PM deal are kinda dodgy in my case, sometimes I can access it, but not on a regular basis… I’ll do some changes on my profile so that I’ll get the PM’s at my freakscene account.
Still having trouble with the chatroom deal, but I’ll definetely try logging on as a guest. Hopefully that’ll work. Some of the computer people here are working on some sort of scheme to try to get the firewall down or something. I’m not really that computer wise, so I’m afraid I can’t explain better, but I’m hoping they’ll figure something out so I can join the chatroom pretty soon.
