I think the byrds do feel a whole lot better better than dinosaur. maybe if lou sang it all and not artie sinatra it would be better.

Here’s one I just remember but no one mentioned Husker Du – Eight MIles High
shit yeah is that a great one

also Yo la tengo – here comes my baby
it’s about as good as the cat stevens version but way better than the one by the tremolos or whoever

Yo La Tengo`s version of Blondie`s Dreaming is great,it`s on a compilation of early 80`s cover songs called Freedom Of Choice;Sonic Youth,Superchunk,Polvo,Redd Kross,Mudhoney, etc also are on it.

Hope I can post this, the net keeps going off here.

HOLY SHIT! This is strange!! I have had that song in my head for 2 weeks. Javro, get out of there!

I also nominate Bob’s cover of Daydream Believer.

*blushing* If I ever would blush

Thanks. I’ve been to lazy to remaster this and put it on my computer again. There is one background vocal that I want to edit out. but otherwise this is one of the best recordings I ever did. somehow I deleted these songs off my computer.

the original is great so you can imagine how good the cover is to make the list
