Couldn’t find Jarons old thread so started another, had to use The Hellacopters new disc title…couldn’t help myself actually

Other than J doing all those Stooges songs The Hellacopters do the most amazing covers…Stones, Radio Birdman, Wilson Pickett, Dead Boys, Social Distortion, Smokey Robinson, New York Dolls, MC5, Stooges, Leonard Skynard., Misfits..YIKES

April 16, 2002 at 9:53 am #70635Maybe Tina Turner could do a more realistic version of Hit Me Baby One More Time.
April 16, 2002 at 12:32 pm #70636Anybody remember Rockapella, from the "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" tv show? It seems they also do solo work (outside of Commercials) including great covers of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and a killer version of "Breakfast at Tiffanys."

April 22, 2002 at 6:07 pm #70643On AG,I found Buffalo Tom covering some cool songs by Bob Dylan(She Belongs To Me),Spinanes(Hawaiian Baby),and My Bloody Valentine(Cupid Come).
Allison-Mike Ness covering I Fought The Law is cool,I think the best cover he`s done is Marty Robbins`s Big Iron,it`s weird hearing Ness singing a gunfighter ballad but it works.[ 04-22-2002, 04:10 PM: Message edited by: Salamiguy ]
