– just use this format (replacing the italics with correct info)
ftp://username:password@http://ftp.address.com* note if you need to specify a certain port, you can append it to the end of the address like so ::
ftp://username:password@http://ftp.address.com:8080
where 8080 would be the porttook me awhile to find this forum, thought i was going nuts…
searched and searched and searched.til i logged in and there it was
bump – freakscene ftp info changed 2004.02.17
I see a lot of people trying to log in but with the wrong password since then.
I changed it because I found that someone had posted the info elsewhere (a classic rock site) and people were hogging up all the accounts (3 elton john bootleg uploads tipped me off) blocking out some real freakscene users.just fyi
It’s been a couple years since I’ve checked out the FTP’s. I’ve been trying to access them for a few weeks now, but can’t seem to. Is all the info current? Any help would be appreciated.
