June 6, 2002 at 2:42 am #70129Hi Allison,
Can’t wait to see J in TN. I met "Boilerman" in Columbus, OH when J played at Little Brothers just a few months ago. It would be very cool to meet Randy Jane as well since I see her name all the time.I’m not listening to anything at the moment but i do have the tv on and am watching "behind the music – Ricky Nelson" for whatever reason.
Gray t-shirt with American Flag on it and boxer shorts.

June 6, 2002 at 4:03 pm #70130I came to this thread to post "You’re a Bigger Jerk than Me" by Karl Hendricks Trio, but I would have never guessed that I would see not 1 but TWO people listening to KHT as well. Rock on!
Anyone know anything about Fog? Should I go see KHT open for them next month?
Oh yeah: wearing khakis and grey shirt.

June 6, 2002 at 4:38 pm #70131Karl Hendricks is on Merge Records, which is one cool label, they have Versus,Superchunk,Butterglory,Rock A Teens,Polvo,East River Pipe,Radar Bros, etc. I don`t think that label has put anything bad out ever.
I checked the AMG about Fog,there`s like 5 Fogs one black metal band, one electronic, one rap,one DJ,and one that has something to do with a guy called J Mascis June 6, 2002 at 5:32 pm #70132I tried AMG first, I am SO confused. Actually "Dead Flowers" is off of Buick Electra which was on something called Peas Kor, long since dead. The Fiasco CDs are quite good as well. Found Superchunk the opposite way, long long ago
June 6, 2002 at 5:34 pm #70133I’d say go just to hear the opening band, unless of course its a certain J related Fog
Thanks again for the KHT tip, sent Dead Flowers out on our ag FreakScene group yesterday, a hit with more than one of the members

June 7, 2002 at 1:19 pm #70138I’m really sorry I had no idea that Randy Jane was also a guy. Sorry bro Still can’t wait to meet him if I get the chance.

Allison
ps thanks for the song agsalami
June 7, 2002 at 5:38 pm #70140Have a good week off VF!
That song like That`s The Point is problably about Rick and Janet`s rocky marriage no wonder they got divorced a few years ago,it did make good song material though kinda like Richard and Linda Thompson,Richard would write songs about their relationship and Linda would sing them,I guess it`s therapy of being married and in a band together.[ 06-07-2002, 03:54 PM: Message edited by: Salamiguy ]
