It’s a sad fact Den Buck, been a great year but we couldn’t pull it off

Appreciate the support though

Definitely pleased with how our D performed all year, today they had to be out there waaaaayyy too long. Offensive overhaul in order, qb and some depth at wr to compliment T & T along with an offensive coordinator. Not sure we can afford to have Robinson around another year, he always gets injured, never makes it thru the season:rolleyes:

So I am looking forward to the changes.

quit flirtin’ with me, allison!!

well, i’ll give the bears a pinch of credit, you have to be somewhat good to obtain a 13-4 record. they’ll be an interesting team next year once robinson gets back, but their lack of O this season really killed them when it counted.

whoever wins the pack/rams game will win the superbowl…guaranteed.

Great season, Chi-town. Man, the Eagles really came packin today and they executed everything that was crucial. McNabb is great and it seems like the Bears have an Achilles with great quarterbacks.
Hope the Eagles play like that in the NFC championship game. I really took them for chumps…… Bears do need help with an offensive scheme. I disagree with the wr depth. I think we have one of the best receiving corps in the league from top to bottom. All the components are in place but QB and O coach.

Now, I must revert to my treasonous ways and align with Dude and the Packers. Favre has what it takes to beat this juggernaut. Ahman’s awareness and heart, along with his skill might be enough to offset the Rams’ pair. Rams D is getting notice but any D is suceptable to Favre when he impersonates General Sherman. Freeman still has the knack for beng open when it counts. I also like the GB D being healthier than when they beat the Bears.
I think both games tomorrow will be equally asskicking.

oh, poo.

well, you might as well give the rams the trophy now. too many turnovers today for the pack. the st. louis D is fo’ real. look out, eagles.

My thoughts on the second round of the playoffs:

Bears/Philadelphia – who actually thought Miller was the key to victory? Everything I ever thought I knew about football was wrong…

St. Louis/Green Bay – Feel not bad Bears fans, you wouldn’t have had a chance against these Rams anyway.

Oakland/New England – I’d like to report a robbery.

Pittsburgh/Baltimore – Who cares? Really, who? We’re back to the days of the NFC winning every year, I think.

Don’t know about you guys, but I would have to say this season has been the most fun for me for a long time. Bears or not. Save for the Rams, it seemed like the playoff contenders’ various strengths and weaknesses have made things interesting down the stretch. Something else, I am gald to be here to exchange thoughts. You find out people have different ways of expressing their enthusiasm for what they like and vice versa. Sometimes we don’t like what we hear or how it is put across, but hey, just like the music we all seems to share an interest in, we have different ways of communicating. Thanks to the powers that be for letting it be, here of all places. Don’t know about other boards since I don’t have a lot of time to surf them but this one’s freedom has to be one of its strongest points of attraction.

Jaron I never thought miller was the key to our salvation, but he would have been better than matthews 66yd/17.9 qb rating…no doubt about that.

Dude that had to hurt, looking forward to playing you guys next year when we get some offense happening at a consistent level Nice to see you acknowledge that The BEARS did have some wicked talent happening this year…mostly on D, but some on offense as well.

Big congrats to Hit The Wine on The Steelers win, should be an interesting game against The Patriots. Weather would have to be better than yesterday, it looked sooo cold!!! Whats up with Bettis, given a shot and hit the nerve:eek: Hopefully it clears up quickly

Halfman my only problems with the wr’s is Marcus Robinson’s inability to play a whole season…for a couple years now. I love the guy but he is of no use to us on the bench, gotta evaluate that this off season. New qb and oc would do wonders!!!
But yeah I gotta agree with you, its been fun talking football here with a bunch of freakscene football freaks…always intesting, sometimes challenging, but overall tons of fun

My picks for next week, Rams and Steelers.

Thanks Allison! Sorry about da Bears, but they’re young, they’ll be back. As far as Bettis goes, the local papers say he was able to play around 5 PM. An injection, in your groin, that goes wrong? That has bad written all over it. Advil only next week for the Bus.

Next week I like the Steelers in close one, and the Rams, although I will be rooting for the Eagles. Don’t count them out, their strong secondary could give the Rams problems, and Donovan McNabb can do some crazy stuff…

Rams/Patroits are my picks.

Rams by 34 in the Super Bowl.

Hey HTW,

Thanks for the bit on The BEARS, agree they will be back but YIKES still feel dazed & confused after that loss. Watching some of the other games made me feel a bit better…but not much

Loved waching the ravens go down, your guys played great!!! Shame about Bettis, definitely agree he should avoid any kind of needles this week…especially in the groin area

Rams/Eagles should be great, they played in week one rams won by 3.

Allison…sad sad BEAR fan

This doesn’t fix the outcome of the game but at least it makes a statement of sorts…he should have been suspended for the playoffs…bastard!!!

Nope not buying it, I just hope the rams offensive line was watching his press conference.

Keep thinking of this line from the big lebowski by the dude…hmmm
