Just got back from the opening show of David Gahan’s US tour in support of his first solo album, Paper Monsters. It was awesome. I really enjoyed myself. We managed to get right to the front, but a lil off to the side. I had a perfect view of everyone. David danced and sang and played the harmonica here and there.
During the main set he played Question of Time, Walking in My Shoes, and Personal Jesus. The encore was I Feel You and Never Let Me Down Again. There are all some of my favorite DM songs!! Lastly they did a lil surprise "acoustic" set of Enjoy the Silence and Policy of Truth. Man, it was AWESOME.
