alright well i just got back from the dinosaur show at the black cat. 1st time at the venue and 1st time seeing dinosaur.
sincei rode down on the metro i had to be back at the station a bit after 11 so i only saw half of the dinos set….
what i saw was great
Man i wish black cat had earlier shows liike some of the other clubs.
who else was there?
by the way it seemed to be a pretty good mix, i could hear vocals well when i stood up front and towards the back.
do you mean the 27th? yeah i was in the very front..murph threw a broken stick at me,i got one of js picks,and j questioned my request for mountain man before they started the encore..it was crazy and my ears are still ringing like crazy becuase i was right in front of j

o man you must have been right in front of me. i was to the left of j a tad, and to the right of the PA speaker. and sadly i left right after this is all i came to do.
did you grab a pick off the mic stand before the set? i saw someone do that.
oh yeah that guy was right next to me for the first half…no i guess it was their sound man that gave me one at the end…i was the kid with longish blond hair and kinda short…sorry you didn’t see the whole thing,that must have been a bummer
i wish i had taken some pictures, but i didn’t feel like taking a camera–there was like three people taking pictures close to me i hope some get posted–theres a bootleg of the j mascis+the fog from their 2004 show on freesofree i hope there is one for the 27th
i think i saw you…were you in a dinosaur shirt with the monster and the boy? i was in a grey track jacket, and i have semi long brown hair. ill adjust my avatar accordingly when i get home fomr school. (bout time for an avatar pic switch)
i hope theres a bootleg as well.
i took like 3 pics. one is of j, and two are of the back of this guys bald head*he kept boucing in my way*.
i also filmed a really crappy 30 second clip of almost ready’s last solo and end.

nah i was wearing a generic striped short sleeve shirt–i was just to the right of j basically right in front of him…i might have seen you when i looked back a few times…is there any way you could please send that picture of j to me i would greatly appreciate it…i should have brought my camera becuase i could have just set it on the stage and kept my eye on it but it was my first time there so i didn’t want to take any chances of having to carry it around
