Ok, now maybe she just doesnt know much about guitars…? First, its funny that she’s selling off her ex’s collection. Ok, "he only bought the best" A Hendrix Voodoo "Stracaster" ….alright, those are cool guitars (if that’s what it actually is). Granada Acoustic, I srongly believe that any of my Harmony’s are better than that thing, even the Harmony acoustic I got for 25 bucks and now has pickups, a strat jack plate and a PENCIL for a SADDLE!!! LOL!!!
EVH stripped guitar, its a fergin Harmony done up like Eddies…..gah!Now for the kicker: "An ORIGINAL ’58 Jazzmaster." The guitar MAY be original, I doubt that it’s a ’58 with out seeing the neck pocket/heel of the neck. The pickguard for one has been changed, it doesnt have the roller knobs nor the upper switch. The toggle and knobs are fine, but it has friggen humbuckers! Whats up with that? Original? WTF!? Sure, its really gonna be worth the $58 its going for right now and if I had the money I would be owning it…..but uh. Eh.
Eyesadrift…..if you dont buy this friggin guitar Im gonna dress up like santa and take a dump down your chimeny while reading Seventeen. You at least need to bid on it….if it IS a 1958 Jazzy, then this is prolly the cheapest you’ll EVER get one for….for that matter, unless you get it for free you wont get a Jazzy this cheap no matter what the date is. Mod it the crap out to be fully custom and you’re still getting it cheaper than a Warmoth or even a Jap Jazzy.Good deal, but the woman needs to research a little, if it is a ’58 she could get a couple grand out of it. Its like watching the little old lady take her dead husbands 1952 Gibson Les Paul into a music store and glady accepting $75 for it thinking she got a good deal. Dear Lord woman, you could get $13,000 for that on Ebay….I know, I’ve seen it happen several times.
End Rant…..RJ

November 18, 2006 at 10:49 am #123354Wow… this has scam written all over it! They have this listed several times, and all of them say you have your choice of the 4 guitars… so, what happens when more than one person chooses the same guitar?
Also, if you look at the seller’s store, they have a bunch of listings for "sexy" photos of their ex-wife and ex-girlfriend. Wait… I thought this was a woman selling her husband’s guitars? She has an ex-wife?!?!
:sniff sniff: Hmmm… I smell something fishy!
November 18, 2006 at 12:29 pm #123355how about everyone reports them?
November 18, 2006 at 7:25 pm #123356hey Im up for that^^^

The closest thing they have to the Strat is the Voodoo Strat and the Hendrix Strat (which was just a tribute to him and had his face on the neck plate….however I dont think they ever made a right handed version of that one). Unless I’m confusing the two here the Voodoo is the one with the right handed body and lefty neck and reverse slant single in the bridge. I like them both, but that white strat, (just because it’s a white strat) does not match this criteria, therefore is not these guitars. The Jazzy most likely is a parts guitar pieced together from Ebay or something and has a Jagmaster pickguard/electronics. Either way, scamming sucks.
