I believe it happened last tuesday.
January 25, 2007 at 4:10 pm #125307Tom,
that would be great. I’m using a mutated version of soulseek on my mac, so I can’t add users by typing their username, but you’ll find me in the Dinosaur Jr 101 chatroom. I’ve only got 1 hd shared right now, but it has 190gb of lossless bootlegs, so you might find something you like anyways.January 25, 2007 at 4:14 pm #125308Robert,
I’ll put on my soulseek, but how do i get to the Dino jr room?
January 25, 2007 at 4:16 pm #125309You’ll have to refresh the rooms list, and then sort it alphabetically, that way you should find it by scrolling down the list.
Also, there are a crapload of people at the board right now, there’s gotta be at least some of you who has some island disc candidates !
January 25, 2007 at 4:19 pm #125310Robert,
Thanks, I found the room.
January 25, 2007 at 4:30 pm #125311Perfect. And might I suggest you download this from me

The Showbox
Seattle, WAmy download speed might be a bit slow as I’m transferring a tom waits bootleg dvd to a friend, but that’s finished before too long.
January 25, 2007 at 5:06 pm #1253123 is just unfair

Dinosaur Jr-Bug
Best record ever.Hazy,dazy,and J-zy

Husker Du-New Day Rising
Can a guitar get more distorted?Mould compared the Husker albums to when the cable goes out and just fuzz is on the screen. The interviewer though Mould meant he hated the Husker records.Mould replied:’No,I like when the cable goes out’

My Bloody Valentine-Loveless
I remember the day the news broke that Kurt Cobain had died,A few hours before I heard I was walking back home with Loveless on my walkman as loud as I could get it and smiling like this
I knew it was one of my favorite albums ever.Should I do 3 jazz albums too?Why not

Charles Mingus-Right Now:Live At The Jazz Workshop
Best jazz live album.Best jazz album overall though critics will shout KIND OF BLUE! instead which is cool too but this band Mingus had, this live recording is magical. He pushes the band to the limit that the saxmen sound like they`re ready to fall over.
John Coltrane-A Love Supreme
When I first heard this I was in high school studying about ancient Egypt. This record is about as mystical.
Bill Evans-Sunday At The Village Vanguard
My favorite jazz pianist.Another one of those live records that just sound so good.
January 25, 2007 at 5:21 pm #125313Ok everybody, please remember that SG only selected these, please disregard the rest of his post

I knew it was one of my favorite albums ever.January 25, 2007 at 5:49 pm #1253143 is just unfair………and subject to change for me……..but at this time I would go for:
1. My J Mascis Caledonia disk from a few years ago. (but I would try and get by with stuffing Greenmind down my britches)
2. Neutral Milk Hotel – In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
3. LED ZEPPELIN III (
) What can I say………it still does it for me.so sad to leave so many others behind.

I love this thread, it’s like the ultimate list of bands to check out, because you know it has to be good stuff when people here choose it.
Tony(sorry, R.A.) norwegian porn ? for real ? I guess you’re just teasing me
