And anyone saying J was sloppy or something, I say to you…Have you EVER seen J play before?
This was the first time this band has played publicly in SIXTEEN years! They sounded pretty damn tight to me.

I don’t know what you guys are talking about, when’s the last time J used his wholoe body when working the guitar like that. it was brilliant.
I’ll agree that the guitar has to switch to louder during the outro but that’s no one’s fault.

April 16, 2005 at 2:54 am #108680I’ve seen J play, on many numerous occasions, and I am one of the biggest Dino fans out there, something was wrong with his guitar, It was very sloppy, grr I hate this it makes it seem like I’m against the man I love

April 16, 2005 at 3:15 am #108681Fired up the Windows Media Center and IT DIDN’T RECORD!!!!
Does anybody have a copy? AHHHHApril 16, 2005 at 3:20 am #108682on VHS…haha

ps. the performance was great i dunno why its getting any flack…the only thing i have a complaint about is his voice, but in a lot of the dino boots i have, his voice has always been like that during the lung. the guitar was wicked towards the end!
April 16, 2005 at 3:26 am #108683I really like the way he attacked the guitar. it sounded pretty spot on to me. the vocals sounded terrible but lucky it was just the lung
mike w –> give us all the details of what we never saw, did they say anything, what was the crowd like? a get together of dino fanatics.

It’s a small studio. Holds MAYBE 100 people. There were only about 20 Dino fans there to my eyes…But we were LOUD and VOCAL. I think it actually surprised the studio guys, because they thought we were the best audience for their show ever…But it was only because of the band. The PIZZA PLACE actor didn’t get that much love, trust me.
When the band came out, we were hootin’ and hollerin’. J just kinda looked out at the audience with his usual expressionless gaze. Lou and Murph were grinning because we were pretty wild.
Then they tore into THE LUNG. It was amazing. You saw it on TV.
After the lung, I started screaming "ONE MORE! ONE MORE!"…Then there was a dead silence in the studio. The band didn’t put down their instruments and the camera crew were just kinda standing around. Looked like they were gonna play another! Someone in the audience, to break the silence, yelled out "What are you gonna play?!?!"
Don’t know why they did it, whether it was planned or not, but then they launched into KRACKED. It was TIGHT! Sounded great. A little better than LUNG, I thought. Fantastic.
After KRACKED, we were going wild again. I started yelling out again…"ONE MORE! ONE MORE!" I could see Murph say to J and Lou…"Are we gonna do one more?"
Then a crew member with a headset walked over to J and said something to him. J took off his guitar and the band walked offstage. Again, J kinda like his usual self…Lou and Murph grinning.
That’s it! Afterwards, the exec-producer threw a couple DINO CDs into the crowd. I caught the first, self titled record. SWEET!

April 16, 2005 at 4:06 am #108685whew!! that was terrific!!
it was so cool to see those three together on one stage…
and i didnt mind the vocals or the guitar…
i’m thinkin: they are in a clean, crisp television studio and everything is fine tuned to the Nth degree and, well its just NOT a HardRock venue, if ya know what i’m sayin…
and as i said before its hard to get it up in someones ‘den’ w/ all them lites…but watch out for the niteclubs and the big stages-it will KILL
s
also i think i saw a grin(maybe it was a grimace) on each of their faces
April 16, 2005 at 4:31 am #108686Hey Kids, the Dino set on the Late Later show was great.

I had no problem with what I saw and heard on the show. J, Lou, Murph, IMHO, played great together…Then again, who I’m I to judge…I’m sick in bed w/ the flu. However, listening to a little Dino music is the perfect distraction from my aliment.
There I said it. I’m tired.
April 16, 2005 at 10:18 am #108687it was fucking great. ive rewatched it about 12 times already it was fucking great. i cant wait for the shows dude.
DONT HATE ON THIS its too good to be true. murph and lou looked soo into it it was so tight. I didnt see any flaw in J at all and ive seen him live tons of times.. it was fucking great.. me and my buddys toasted all night long and toasted beers as we rewatched it into the early morn

April 16, 2005 at 4:00 pm #108690Hey all. First timer here. Would anyone who taped it last nights performance be willing to make me a recording? A blanks & postage thing? I had a VHS in but screwed it up and ran out of tape.
I originally got into the band in the mid-nineties around Without a Sound. I was just kind a mediocre fan but I loved the album. Anyway I never really learned to much about the band but I heard about the reissues just recently and bought Living In All Over Me. First time ever heard it. Wow. I own Bug and Dinosaur now. Loving life. No one ever told me how great this band was before I heard of them.

I was thinking… while these guys were playing a great song like Little Fury Things, I was probably rocking out at a Dokken show.
It makes my teen years seem so pathetic.
