The new habitat video(mosaic) has a dino song in it. Anthony Pappalardo skates and Dino Jr plays FORGET THE SWAN! Such a good part.
There are many other good songs in it too. I recommend.yeah, pappalardo’s part is the best in the vid, and it’s rad that he used "forget the swan," but there are also two original j mascis songs in "mosaic." i don’t know the name of either, but the acoustic outro in pappalardo’s part is j, and so is ed selego’s song. it would be cool if j would post mp3s of those on this site….
I’d be nice to have a list of who skated to the songs. I remember Mike Vallely skating to Freak Scene on the Wheels of Fire video. That’s actually what got me hooked. OT Hey, does any one remember Ray Barbee? I loved that guy! I was and probably still would be if he got more face time.
Frassati: Ray Barbee is a legend and he is still skating a lot, i guess. He has a new and a really good part in a skatevideo called The Firm: Cant stop. He has also composed a lot of music that has been used in several skatevideos.
when i was in the ‘scene’, it was guys like, Natas, Vallely (i would love to get a copy of speed freaks), the GONZ, Mark ‘gator’ rogowski, Ray barbee, dudes like that…
ah, the good ole days of big wheels and rails.
i even had a lapper, shhhhh!
Anthony: Mike Vallely and some other skaters had a demo in Finland and it was really fun. Mike V. got angry and began to hit himself in head with a trash can. Then he threw it away and began to skate "like a craaazy duude"… He does always his shows and they are quite funny!! I think he has been in the wrestling business a couple of times. I saw it on tv.. He had a deck as a weapon…
Gonz has also been "in the spotlights" last years with a great part in Real Skateboards: Reel to Reel, which by the way is one of the best videos i know. True Frisco cruising down the hills…
I dont know what is up with Natas Kaupas and Gator. I think Mark Gator is still in jail for killing his wife..
There is somekind of old-school-boom going on in the skateboardindustry. Old brands like vans, vision street wear etc. are producing their old models again. Old school skaters are really IN now, Christian Hosoi who recently got out of prison had new sponsors waiting for him outside the prison building…

i used to have his powell board with the weird shape with the elephants.can’t beat running through a graveyard b4 skating.
Aetos I go the Can’t Stop Video. It’s really good. Ray Barbee does some great stuff on there. I have to say the 3 ft. fickflips over walls and picknick tables are amazing. Thanks for the lead.

Anthony: I haven’t seen that emerica movie, or Mosaic. How would you share it? I’ve got only one program for filesharing. Solarseek. I think it is the same as Soulseek, but for mac. If you are looking for a specific skatevideo, I might have it. I used to download a lot of videos and burn ’em to cd’s.
