Dino Live in Berlin June 30 ???

A friend of mine just told me that Dinosaur are palying Berlin/Germany on June 30… would be total bummer bacause I’m leaving for vacation that day, AND IF THEY WILL BUILD A TOUR AROUND THIS DATE THEY ARE TOTALLY NUTS BECAUSE NO-ONE will go to see them since it’s vacation time !!! (Rant over…)

Plus, someone posted on the wikipedia page that they were opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers ( , but that still == $$$) in Munich on 29 July and Hamburg on 1 July. I’ve yet to hear anything else about this or confirm w/ Lou.

If this is the only norwegian gig this year, as the festivalmanager says, I’m surprised/pissed. This is in Trondheim
This means long travelling for me and hotel or tent or whatever.

storaasfestivalen? why on earth would they play there?

i think it’s in soer troendelag, just south of trondheim. i was hoping for a non-festival concert though.

Ok, I read in the adressa.no paper Dinosaur took the invitation cause it fits with the Sweden gig. So here’s me hoping for a second norwegian gig after the summer.

The gig in sweden will be pretty cool. It’s a festival with about 5000 peoples. And it’s located out in the forest.
The bands that use to play there are bands that are in the beginning of their career. Mostly new swedish bands that only released one or maybe no record at all.
Bands like The Hellacopters, Soundtrack of our lives, Cardigans etc has all played there before they got famous. Even Pavement I think, back in the early 90’s.

Yeah, it should be pretty easy. It’s located in the south-east of Sweden.

If you take the train or bus to Gothenburg . Then you change to another train that will go straight to Emmaboda. Check out http://www.sj.se.

Or you can make it down to Gothenburg. From there you can travel with something called "festivalbussen". They will take you straight to the festival and back if you like. http://www.festivalbussen.com. That would probably be cheaper than train, and easier.

Try to make it. We could meet up there. It would be cool to hang out with a Dino fan. I don’t know anybody that really loves Dino….
