1-Gargoyle
2-Kracked
3-Tarpit
4-Wagon
5-Forget the swan (w/ extended solo)
6-Bulbs of passion
7-The Lung
8-Little fury things
9-Lose (This may have been DOES IT FLOAT, I couldn’t think of the name when they sang it and jotted down Lose. Going back through CDs to verify. Lou sings it, well mumbles it is more like it.)
10-In a jar
11-Just like heaven
12-Sludgefest
1-Freakscene
2-ChunksUhh, I really really really hope my hearing comes back. Dead Meadow blew out my right ear with their first song, and Dino finished off any remnants of hearing that may have been left.
Dino was tight, as to be expected. J’s voice/mic sounded a little off (probably was me) but other then that, they were on it. Lou heckled the crowd once or twice, and J and Lou would say "woohoo" or something like that after finishing a song, then they would launch right into the next one. Probably started around 10, wrapped it up at 11:20. Good enough for me.
Awesome to have finally seen the originals of a band I have been jammin’ to 12+ years now!
***TAKE EARPLUGS, SERIOUSLY***
April 12, 2006 at 6:06 am #116202i’m pretty sure it’s Lose.

Great show but I guess J is sick or something. He had tea with him on stage and seemed to be struggling a little. I don’t think it was the mic, I think he’s losing his voice.
The Lou Barlow in-store was great too. He seemed really nervous which was cool considering how many shows he plays and how long he’s been at it. It was his first time to Indy, though so maybe that’s why.
Overall, I loved it. Seeing Dino at the Vogue was a dream come true and Lou seemed more talkative than last year. He was really personable at the in-store show and extended that to the Dino show. Even J seemed more greatful to the fans than usual. I don’t know, awesome night. When J leaned over and talked to Lou and Murph before going into Just Like Heaven I thought they might play a new song they’ve been working on but it didn’t happen. Maybe next time!
April 12, 2006 at 9:19 am #116204Oh yeah, and someone was taping the show so hopefully it shows up on FreeSoFree. Forget the Swan and The Lung were especially good last night.
