So just bought dinosaur’s 1st album the other day. Had some time for it to sink in and its fucking awesome. I really love bulbs of passion, pointless, gargoyle, the leper. So good, lou used to really do his thing. Screaming and rocking out.

Yeah it’s awesomely good, I really love the way parts of it have 70s rock kind of vibe (sort of like The Fog)
I’m a bass player and I just love the sound of Lou’s Rickenbacker, it’s like being punched in the gut.
I listened to it on headphones stoned out of my mind the other day (best way to appreciate music I think!) and the drums sounded really FLAT and badly recorded though compared to "YLAOM" and "B"

Yeah, Severed Lips really is the best song on Dinosaur. So fucking good. Beautiful melody.

what extras did they put on the re-issue? i have a crusty old copy of the homestead vinyl. it’s beat to hell, but it still sounds great
