April 25, 2006 at 4:58 am #116698Except for the Lou and Murph shot, each of these pics is from the Memphis show at Young Avenue Deli (April 10th) The pic of Lou and Murph on stage was taken the previous night at the Nashville show at the City Hall venue.
April 25, 2006 at 7:36 am #116699I do like those photographs, That JACKET of J’s must go behind glass someday in the dinosaur museum! and I especially enjoyed the ee cummings in BDL’s signature.
At one time I loved ee cummings about as much as this music. Thanks BDL, when I first read his work, I realized that is almost the way I see the world. When my mother got angry at me and yelled "Why do you leave home with out combing your hair or remembering to take your books to school?" I now know it was because my whole life, all of the thoughts in my head were like an ee cummings poem. Having children sort of stopped that whole ungrounded thing.
But what a great Combo……………………Dinosaur Jr. Photgraphs and ee cummings poems.
I am looking for the poem "Spring" with the muddy-luscious puddles in it. I forget what the poem is called but I loved it and I am no where near an ee cummings book now. I do remember a few of my other favs.

He does look like Randy Jackson! Dan was a very nice guy and he didn’t make Randy Jackson-esque comments to J like, "Yo, yo man. What’s happening my brother? That was a little pitchy."

I’d really like to know what Randy Jackson would say to J’s performance! I’m sure it would bring Paula to tears but not in the way vocal performances usually do…

Are you sure the karma points don’t have more to do with your new picture? There are some easily-played boys around here…..

Should I change it? I am not meaning to play anyone, male or female. My husband loves this picture.

God, no. I’m just being a jerk, but all in good fun. Thing is, I’m allergic to smileys, winkies, what-have-you, so sometimes my humor gets lost in e-translation.
