      Awesome – If you live in America did it get shipped from there in the end or did it come from the UK? – just curious.

        mine came today and i’m already half way through it, it’s such a great read. loads more info about the band compared to the other books on Dino. I love the layout, the photo’s are awesome and everyone’s comments about the guys when they were younger are very funny! also my name in the back is pretty rad 🙂 now I shall continue to the other half!

          empire2 – It came out of a distribution center in Pennsylvania. I imagine the orders got shipped there and when ever anyone orders a copy it will come out of there as well.

              Can’t wait to get my copy of the book…. but has anyone heard if there will be a digital copy of the book offered as well? I would love to have a digital copy to easily take with me while I’m traveling!

                Hello all, new member here. Got my book the beginning of the week as well. It is beautiful. I can’t help but mention, Jeremiah, that I got # 114/500. Glad to see freak scene is back online, and glad to be part of the forum. Now if the snow will hold off tomorrow so that Dino at the Sinclair in Cambridge won’t be cancelled.

                  I’m sure many have read “Our Band Could Be Your Life: Scenes from the American Indie Underground: Scenes from the American Indie Underground 1981-1997” By Michael Azerrad – But if you have not and you like dino than I’m sure you would enjoy it.
                  Plus it’s quite cheap in paperback(under a £10, Think I got mine secondhand for £4!)

                  @jaashworth
                  I doubt it although I don’t know that for sure…(not to take anything anyway from it) but it really only works(in my opinion) in a hardcopy coffee table size as it’s heavily visually driven… You can get the above book as a digital copy…kindle etc.

                    haven’t opened mine yet, saving it for Christmas. Mrs Javro called me at work the other day to enquire on why I’d spent £270 on a book. Why did they put the price on the covering letter? Damn you to hell book sending people.

                      ONE more bump. If Mrs. Javro complains there’s always room to sue me for the Beavis Quest. I could come up with 20.00 US.

                      Hi Javro, nice to hear from you.

                      About the book, I’m getting my depressing three day shower routine and I have some dreads I want grey. Do you think the hair dye would work on the radical choice on making the book purple…I know it’s J’s favorite color but OJ Simspons greatest moments is the same stitch.

                        dammit… why is too hard to be brazilian?
                        Something like it is too expansive in Brazil (taxes+currency conversion+currency devalued+import costs).
