April 13, 2005 at 12:33 pm #108242My friend and I think that its been a long ploy since 89 and that they just wanted to appear to break up to do separate albums but they really all played on all of them and each others and that the Fog is going to dissappear and DIno will reamearge.

Well if you see a guy with a Dinosaur Jr. crew hat say hello.
April 13, 2005 at 3:05 pm #108247my first post … but here’s an update …
Lou & Murph have been rehearsing in LA for the last week or so. Everything was going swimmingly, so I’ve heard. Lou played a one-off show in Denver over the weekend and unfortunately got stuck in the snow but J’s manager(s) got him a bass on which to practice. He was scheduled to arrive back in LA yesterday, as was J (which is when the real craziness begins !). The song they’re gonna be playing on the Late Late Show is still up in the air.
cheers.

April 13, 2005 at 4:43 pm #108249i thought J was quoted in an earlier interview saying they will play Kracked on the late, late show. i hope so, one of my fav dino songs ever!

But as of Tuesday at about 12pm PDT, Kathleen said they didn’t know. Either way, it’ll be very cool to see them play together again. One thing is for sure — J has aged *a lot* more than Lou has over the years. He looks like 10 yrs older than Lou does.
That Spaceland show should be nutty, what with them getting only 3-4 days rehearsal time all together. It’s been 20 yrs since Lou probably played some of those songs and at least 8-10 for Murph. Does J play "classic"-era Dinosaur songs with the Fog ??
April 14, 2005 at 12:03 am #108253hell yeah, he still plays a lot of dinosaur songs with the fog
April 14, 2005 at 5:19 am #108254@ the last solo J show I saw in Chapel Hill hew was playing Forget The Swan at soundcheck so I imagine that one will be in the lineup.
