        maybe they’re not allowed to advertise it until after Download … often bands are contractually forbidden to appear at other festivals in the same country

          j’s management’s confirmed it already …

          it’s probably more a case of getting the paperwork sorted out (like the contract etc) before they officially list them, but it sounds like the offer is there and the band’s accepted …

          i work at an arts centre and this is the way we do things too … the performer might be telling everyone there’ll be an addtl date, but we don’t confirm/advertise/sell tix/whatever until we have all the paperwork sorted out … 8)

            Yeah I guess you’re right – the Download thing would make sense too. I know the website/management have confirmed it, so I don’t know why I’m worrying really :)
