The only bass players i know to play the wagon are DOn Fleming, Mike Johnson, Mike Watt, Matt Hunter, Dave Schools, and I think a woman played it back in the day originally but never heard of lou doing it. They brook up in 88 and the wagon didn’t come out untill 90-91
March 2, 2005 at 11:23 am #107170yeah I guess it was probably Don FLeming on the single. the concert chronology first has it’s first known performance in ’90.
Sorry I was mistaken, I’m usually good with "facts"
Is there any proof the Donna Dretsch or Van Conner were in the band for a bit. I’ve heard this in articles but have never seen any proof. Anyone know the stories?
March 2, 2005 at 11:40 am #107171Things seem to be sketchy about when Donna Dresch and Van Conner was in Dino
One story I heard was Kurt Cobain telling J that Donna was not a good bassist.J hired Donna anyway
March 2, 2005 at 11:59 am #107172I think one of them (Donna) was only in for an Australian tour or something like that. and I also heard that she didn’t enjoy and doesn’t like to talk about it.

No
they would`ve been like 7 years old back then. It`s Donna Dresch who used to be in the Screaming Trees. She later formed the band Team Dresch and ran her own label Chainsaw records.March 2, 2005 at 3:55 pm #107175I’ve been reading the download fest forums and I’m getting a kick out of these English people saying "who the fook are dinosau jnr"
I bet J gets a weird kick out of playing to these english metal heads. It’s pretty great.
March 3, 2005 at 3:37 am #107176yeah, us English people know shit mate. It’s not like I saw them playing tiny venues in London shit holes 15 years ago.
at least you didn’t call us "British".
March 3, 2005 at 3:45 am #107177Billy Idol
Maybe they could cover Rebel Yell with Lou screaming and J going nuts on wah wah guitar
March 3, 2005 at 7:12 am #107178Sorry Javro,I just messed up your post
March 3, 2005 at 8:08 am #107179I think the sets would be mostly first three albums, but I would expect to see later hits like The Wagon, Out There, etc. Doubtful on Feel The Pain. Extremely doubtful (it being a Dino Jr. reunion) of j solo or lou’s songs.

I don’t know if you are being sincere or sarcastic.
March 3, 2005 at 10:56 am #107181i apologised for my outburst – due to overcrowded tube and lack of coffee first things in the morning.
someone deleted my apology by accident.
was a combo of sincerity and irony – i call in insinciroty.
March 3, 2005 at 11:03 am #107182there is no way i can read this entire post to catch up, but I think it would be cool if they just played those 7 or 8 tunes from when they all played together before.
opening with severed lips, ending with chunks.
maybe we can have a poll on what we want them to play…

Good idea. Definitely have to stick to the first three albums of material, though. No throwin’ in Green Mind or Where You Been songs.
