ok, we all know how they made that crappy Tenacious D movie, and I was thinking, I’m not sure if it’d sell well, but, like, they make a movie about Dinosaur Jr, where it starts off like there in Deep Wound playing, then they break up and J n Lou find Murph, and It shows them rehearsing n playing and gettin with homestead, then SST and they reenact J and Lous fight on the stage, they show J "breaking up" the band (to reform it the next day) and then it has them w/o Lou and then Murph gets fed up with J wanting to do everything himself…then it skips ahead, Lous being a little successful with his solo stuff, the the whole deep wound one track reunion thing happens which makes Dino have the reunion tour, then they get along, to where they decide to make the new album….idk, i rambled, anyways, like, itd be a reenactment of their whole life as a band, even tho we’d need actors for their early days.
i dunno, itd be cool but probably never happen…….
as i read that i was playing these funny little scenes in my head–and i agree that it would be cool to see that

Philip Virus is currently working on a Dinosaur Jr retrospective/bio (not a "movie" with actors and stuff, though) using REAL footage, incl. the stage fight. No shit, there’ll be another Dino DVD sometime
oh sweet! ive always wanted to see that stage fight. is that performance on FSF? because if it was during severed lips, i figured itd be the last song on the set.

And: they returned back to the stage after the "fight" to play Lose & Mountain Man
In this case "Severd Lips" was performed mid-set.im listening to it right now but i dont hear the fight or lou yelling or anything…wait, i hear people talkin bout it
Right at the very end of the song you can hear the guitars go "clang ! bang !" and you can make out a very excited Lou yelling "Yeah!" over the feedback. When they return to the stage he apologises for being an asshole and stuff…
