Dinosaur "Truck Stop" T-shirt, and my take on it

I like the idea of this shirt, but thought the execution was lousy.
I just don’t like the pic of the band that’s used for this shirt.
So I’m designing some of my own just for fun,
here is my first attempt (very rough design):

This isn’t great or anything, I just started with something easy.
I’m going to keep at it, maybe some will turn out kinda cool.

Looking at this again, it is pretty lame.

cant believe the official t shirt, its awful. looks like a real bad market stall design with a photo of the band printed into the smoke???????????? i just dont get it. neil blender forever!!!!! he is to dino wat quentin blake is to roald.
