Oh yeah, so nothing has happened yet. Apparently their CD has been pushed back a bit. I just saw one of their shows on Saturday and I think they are getting close. I think its too late to book it for this month so I’m hoping we’ll get a date in December sometime. As soon as something happens I’ll let you guys know.

Just loaded up my gear and getting ready to go to the club. I’m stoked and nervous at the same time. I am watching Live in the Middle East right now to get in the zone.

I’ll let you guys know how it goes, not that anyone cares….

How did it go? Did you melt their faces off?

Usually when you play an acoustic set, the goal isn’t to melt people’s faces off.

I guess you’ve never seen J Mascis live acoustic/electric before.

I really wouldn’t consider that face-melting but alllright.

The set went good, better than expected. Lots of applause in between songs.

I’ve already had offers to do more shows, we’ll see.

No face melting solo’s but the distortion and wah sounded great. People looked shocked to hear what was coming out of an acoustic guitar. Clearly most of them hadn’t witnessed J’s magic. Hopefully I did it justice.

Hopefully next time there will be a bootleg I can post over at freesofree.

The only known pic is on my myspace page.
