One of their founding partners over there (at Madison House), Mike Luba, is a really good friend of mine, and he called me once and said, ‘J Mascis needs a manager, do you want to do that?’ I said, ‘Are you kidding me? Of course,’" Schwartz says.
"So we got J Mascis, and we created a great relationship with J and did some really cool things with J and (his solo band) the Fog, and got Dave Schools (of Widespread Panic) to play in the Fog, then they were doing reissues of the first three Dinosaur Jr albums, and I just kept on J and said, ‘We should really try to get this band back together to support these reissues.’
"And for a long long time it was ‘No, no, no, no, no,’ and then certain events came together and the seemingly impossible reunion happened."
