And we could look at the sky in a poetic kind of way…

Hee hee! We’re silly. Oh! But do you know what? And I wish Tony was here to hear how this all comes together…but I first heard about Freakscene from some very nice guys on Baileyswalk(a Pixies forum that was awesome to the max before it got invaded by cyber spam) and my name on that site was Erotic~Vulture. *cues dramatic music for effect*

So you were in that subbacultcha

One of the first time I heard(or saw in this case)The Pixies was on a tv show Nightmusic almost 20 years ago. They were a contrast to Sonic Youth who did feedback barrages and were all over the stage. The Pixies did`nt move around much, they kinda just stood there and did their thing. With the wonders of Youtube, that same performance is here:

Amazing. I feel my love for the Pixies growing anew! I want to shout it from the rooftops! And while I’m up there I’ll be a building jumper! Roof to roof you see me flying through the airrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I won’t break my body in the process!
You know what?! I think I am going to try to see them in November. It will be cutting it awful close but what the hey! Their live performances are worth it! And a big impolite middle finger to everyone saying the Pixies are just going on tour again to make money. Musicians need to eat too! And this girl doesn’t mind buying tickets to keep Frank Black rolling in the cookie dough.

Another interesting thing about that Pixies performance was they were on the same night as Sun Ra(jazz musician from outer space!Saturn to be exact)so years later when I found out that Frank was into aliens and space,I wondered if he talked with Mr Ra backstage and asked him questions :)

And saxophonist Pat Patrick was a longtime member of Mr Ra`s band. His son is the governor of Massachusetts

My avatar is a monument to the spirit of de-evolution that inhabits all of us.

Girl likes my new avatar so I`ll tell you what it is :)

It`s Kenny Burrell`s self titled album from 1957.The same music was also on an album called Blue Moods, most likely with a different cover.Confusing when they release the same album over again under a different name, makes no sense to me.Another Burrell album cover I like is All Day Long, with a shot of a bridge and water.Maybe I`ll use that someday

Because with the minimal amount of clothing she’s got on she could get a splinter! You have to admire such sexy bravery.

What can I say? I like to live life on the edge…of a fence post.

By the way, I’m excellent at removing splinters with my mouth.
